More Than Grass: The Legacy Acres Is Built to Leave

This Isn’t Just a Business. It’s a Legacy.
When I started Acres, I was a young Indigenous firefighter with no blueprint — just grit, borrowed equipment, and a promise to myself to do the job right, no matter what.
There was no one showing me how to build a business. No mentor telling me which steps to take. No safety net. No money, No knowledge.
That’s why this company is more than grass and machines. It’s about becoming the person I needed when I was younger — and building something that outlives me.
Acres is my story, but it’s also my solution.
It’s a platform for:
People with unrealized potential
Workers trying to turn the corner in life
Youth who’ve been written off — but haven’t given up
First Responders who still want to serve, just in a new way
We’re proof that you can start with a duct-taped mower, some friends, and a dream — and build a real company with values, vision, and impact.
The Acres Youth Program (Future Vision)
I don’t want to be the guy with a business and a truck. I want to be the guy who helped change someone’s life.
That’s why I’m building a youth program — one that teaches:
Lawncare and property maintenance
How to use and fix machines
How to market and brand yourself
Business skills that apply to any industry
Confidence, consistency, and real-world pride
It’s not just about cutting grass. It’s about showing people they can build something of their own — no matter where they start.
This program will give young people skills, options, and self-worth. It will show them how to create, not just work. It might even help them change the direction of their life.
And if it does? That’s a legacy I can be proud of.
The Real Win
I don’t expect to live forever. but while I’m here, I’m not just cutting grass — I’m planting something deeper.
Knowledge – because no one handed it to me, and I had to earn every lesson the hard way. If I can pass it on, maybe someone else gets to skip the struggle and start stronger.
Hope – because I know what it’s like to feel stuck, directionless, and like success is meant for someone else. I’m here to prove that it’s not.
Pride – because every person deserves to feel like they matter, like they built something, like they turned their life into something worth being proud of.
Money fades. Equipment breaks. But if someone sees what we built and thinks,
“Maybe I can do something like that too...” then I’ve done my job.
